1. Controller
Davion, represented by Berkan Y. Altun in Switzerland, is responsible for data processing on davion.ch. For privacy enquiries, contact us at info@davion.ch.
This Privacy Policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we also comply with its requirements.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use our website and services, we process in particular:
- identity and contact data such as your name, business email address, company and role;
- communications from enquiries, conversations and project briefings;
- meeting and booking data such as the selected time, time zone, topic and participants;
- contract and project data relating to proposals, services and collaboration;
- technical usage data such as IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, time and server logs.
We do not process sensitive personal data unless it is required for a specific service and explicitly agreed.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to:
- provide the website securely and reliably;
- respond to enquiries and coordinate meetings;
- prepare, propose, deliver and invoice projects;
- improve our products, software and communications;
- meet legal obligations and protect legal claims.
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based, as appropriate, on your consent, steps towards or performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in secure and professional operations.
4. Website and server logs
When you access the website, your browser sends technical data to our infrastructure. We process this data in server logs to deliver content, detect faults, prevent attacks and maintain availability. Logs are retained only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting and legal evidence.
5. Contact and booking
When you contact us or book a meeting, we process the information you provide to respond and conduct the meeting. Davion uses Google Calendar and Google APIs for scheduling. Data may be transferred to Google Ireland Limited and affiliated companies, including Google LLC in the United States.
Where required, transfers to countries without a recognised adequate level of data protection are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as approved standard contractual clauses, or a legal exception. Please also see Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Providers and recipients
We may share personal data with carefully selected providers that support hosting, IT operations, communications, scheduling and project delivery. They process data only for agreed purposes and under contractual or legal obligations. We may also disclose data where required by law, necessary to enforce rights or authorised by you.
7. International transfers
Our providers may process data in Switzerland, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or the United States. Where a country does not provide a level of protection recognised by the Swiss Federal Council, we use appropriate safeguards, particularly approved standard contractual clauses, or rely on a legal exception.
8. Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as required by its purpose, a contract, legitimate documentation needs or statutory retention obligations. We then delete or anonymise it. Davion uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and alteration.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may in particular:
- request access to your processed personal data;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to processing or withdraw consent;
- request the release or transfer of certain data.
Please send your request to info@davion.ch. We may request proof of identity. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or a competent European supervisory authority.
10. Automated decisions and updates
We do not make solely automated individual decisions with legal or similarly significant effects through website enquiries or bookings. We may update this policy when our processing or the law changes. The version published on this page applies.
